I am growing two separate businesses that are both thriving. I recently got married to a genuinely kind man who sees my worth and honors it. One year ago Alex Tacket came into my life some might say by happenstance, however I know that there is no such thing. Alex was a divine gift at a crucial time in my life when I needed help. Alex began a 10 week life coaching program with me. I was instantly grateful to have her in my life for guidance, however at the time I did not yet know the impact she would have on me and my business. When I began working with Alex I was not only financially broke and in debt I was emotionally and spirituality bankrupt. I had spent the year prior “surviving” a painful divorce and not fully aware of the trauma that I was holding onto from it. Alex recognized immediately I was dealing with self worth issues and limiting belief systems. Week by week Alex would listen and was a safe place for me to share my struggles. She helped me to identify where some of my low self worth stemmed from and gently urged me to look inward for my answers. One thing that I will always remember as it was a light bulb going off for me was Alex asked me if my “people pleasing” could be coming from a place of ego as a fear to not be left behind. Something switched in me that day and I began to find awareness in my behaviors that brought about huge changes. It didn’t happen over night, it’s actually been a long hard year of truly diving into my trauma and retraining my brain into new thought processes that serve my highest good and the highest good of those around me. As I sit here today and reflect back on the last year and what has transpired, I can honestly say it started with Alex. One year later, I am growing two separate businesses that are both thriving.
